AWL’s team wins top prize at the NASA 2019 International Space Apps Challenge, the world’s biggest hackathon, nominated for the Global Award.

Two teams from AWL, Inc. participated in NASA 2019 International Space Apps Challenge, hosted in Sapporo for the first time. Team AWL PLANET won the top prize and is working hard towards winning the Global awards.

NASA International Space Apps Challenge: World’s biggest hackathon led by NASA, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space. The event this year included over 29,000 participants in more than 230 locations in 80 countries around the world. The hot competitions were also held in 8 cities throughout Japan, for the first time in Sapporo.
