-Leading the Future of RETAIL-

Today, the environment surrounding retail stores has reached a major turning point as a result of decrease in the labor population and technological evolution such as Smartphone, AI, and IoT. Though the needs of seamless online-offline integrated services or shift to man-saving / unmanned operation, which are described as Digital Transformation, OMO (Online Merges with Offline) or retail tech came to light, it is hard to move to a new paradigm only by the retailers.

To solve issues retailers are facing, AWL focuses on existing “security camera” which is already installed in store. Security cameras are installed to record footage of crime scene or accident. But we found that we can make big innovation happen by re-defining the security camera as “Input Device to Complement Human Eyes and Brain”.

Utilizing existing security camera in store, “AWL BOX”, our unique AI edge device analyzes video data in real time. Through connecting the data with human who are working in the store, we successfully contribute to reduce the burden. Also, we could establish new value-creating platform which seamlessly integrates online and offline by connecting the analysis result and the online data.

With this AI camera platform as a key and collaboration with various partners, we are determined to keep challenging to Lead the Future of RETAIL through maximizing the value of physical stores.
