[Press Release] AWL Welcomes 10 Seniors and International Talents, Reaches Total of 70

AWL, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Muneharu Kitade, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), a Hokkaido University-certified startup and the market leader in edge AI camera solutions, is pleased to announce that, since September 2021, the Company has welcomed global talents for multiple positions and experienced seniors from major electrical appliance manufacturers to accelerate further growth and promote more diverse corporate culture.

■The background

Amid the Company’s nationwide and large-scale expansion of “AWLBOX”, an edge AI solution which offers various AI video analysis features just by connecting to existing security cameras and “AWL Lite”, an affordable and highly sophisticated solution which enables various STB (Set Top Box) and tablets to use AI features such as digital signage viewer analysis in real time. The Company has been working on recruitment aiming to enhance and strengthen research and development, business development, and operation / support structures. In addition to global AI engineers, the Company has been recruiting young and global-minded talents for various positions regardless of nationality and senior personnel with extensive experience at major electronics manufacturers to ensure quality in AI and IoT, promote business development and business management. Since September 2021, total of 10 persons joined and successfully making a smooth transition.
