Tokyo, Japan – August 1, 2021 – AWL, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Muneharu Kitade), a Hokkaido University-certified startup and the market leader in edge AI camera solutions, announced today that Mina Tsuchida has been appointed a Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO).
A wide range of human resources and a corporate culture full of diversity are strengths of AWL, which leads the fields of cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced digital image processing technology. With this appointment, we intend to strengthen the organizational structure, cultivate diversified human resources of the management layer, and form the organizational culture along with enhancing corporate value further and bringing novel emotion and joy to the society through our technology.

■ Mina Tsuchida: Profile
Since joining AI Tokyo Lab now AWL, Inc. in 2017, Mina Tsuchida has been leading all aspects of human resource management and industrial relations policies, practices and operations, which makes the foundation of GLOBAWL Culture. Prior to joining AWL, Mina served more than 10 years in various operational and HR leadership positions within Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. now Panasonic Corporation’s R&D, Sales and Marketing, Overseas, Electronic Devices organizations. Mina successfully led multiple corporate projects including the Technical Skills Assessment System and implementing a web-based human resources management system. From 2013, she was engaged in new business development and community activities in Silicon Valley. Raised in Thailand and Australia, she received her B.A. in Educational Psychology from Hokkaido University.
