President Muneharu Kitade was on RKB radio’s “Koji Sakurai Insight (櫻井浩二インサイト)”on June 2. This week the show features “Technology in the spotlight amid COVID-19 pandemic” as a theme. Kitade talked about “AWL Lite with COVID-19 solutions”, which prevents 3Cs utilizing AI along with detecting mask wearing and hand sanitizer use, etc., and mentioned that the AI’s alert function on behalf of the employee is expected to reduce stress of the employee by preventing clash with customer. He also introduced new solutions utilizing in-store security cameras planned to be released soon.
