Dr. Muhammad Haris Khan is a noted expert in face-related tasks, visual domain adaptation, generalization, and tracking, with numerous publications at CVPR, ICCV, and NeurIPS and over 5000 citations. Dr. Biplab Banerjee specializes in computer vision, deep learning, and multi-modal learning, and is a Senior Member of IEEE with over 2,300 citations, having made significant contributions to visual recognition and domain generalization research.<\/p>\n
In his keynote, titled \u201cAdvancing Edge AI and Video Analysis Technology: AWL’s Global Impact and Real-World Implementation,\u201d Mr. Tsuchida will showcase the technical innovation behind AWL\u2019s proprietary \u201cAWL Engine\u201d technology. This cutting-edge AI system dynamically adapts to environmental changes while maintaining model accuracy, thereby enhancing cost and energy efficiency. Drawing from AWL\u2019s successful deployments in Japan\u2019s retail sector, the presentation will highlight the company\u2019s practical impact and global ambitions in real-world AI implementation.<\/p>\n
Mr. Tsuchida has served as CTO of AWL since 2017, overseeing the company\u2019s global technology and intellectual property strategy. Prior to joining AWL, he led new business development initiatives at Panasonic Corporation, including founding mobile O2O services in Silicon Valley. Earlier, he contributed to middleware platform development for NTT DOCOMO and holds a master\u2019s degree in Computer Science from Hokkaido University.<\/p>\n
