AWL, Inc. (“Elevator Media”, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan, President: Takeshi Watanabe), which provides “LiftSPOT”, one of the largest elevator signage media services in Japan. <\/p>\n

In recent years, as with internet advertising, the use of digital signage and other media in shops, public spaces, public transport, and outdoor physical spaces has become more popular, and it has become important to measure the effectiveness of advertising, such as viewer attributes, the number of viewers by time of day and content, duration and contact rate. In addition, efforts are being made to maximize advertising revenues by using advertising measurement data for reporting to advertisers and improving the content of advertisements, as well as optimizing the content displayed according to viewer\u2019s attributes.
\nElevator Media provides advertising and media services to LiftSPOT, one of the largest elevator signage installations in Japan, with new advertising methods that use the characteristics of elevators to provide useful information to users and highly appealing advertising.
\nAWL offers “AWL Engine”, an edge AI video analysis engine that runs on small devices and can maintain analysis accuracy over a long period of time in different installation environments. The AWL Engine, which is customized for signage media in the elevator, has now been combined with LiftSPOT in collaboration with Elevator Media to realize AI video analytics that enable highly accurate measurement of advertising effectiveness in a variety of elevator environments. Going forward, we aim to create new value for users and related businesses by leveraging the resources of LiftSPOT’s advertising delivery technology and AWL’s leading AI video analytics technology such as AWL Engine and a proud track record of implementations.<\/p>\n

\u25a0About LiftSPOT<\/h4>\n

“LiftSPOT” is an “undistracted viewing” advertising delivery service that takes advantage of the characteristics of the enclosed space inside the elevator. Since people in elevators tend to watch the floor indicator with little opportunity to chat or check their phones, “advertising video with sound” is expected to effectively attract viewers. In addition, the camera on the signage enables the analysis and reporting of viewer attributes and the number of viewers.
\nThe number of installed units is approximately 9,800 nationwide, making it the largest installed elevator signage in Japan. This is an advertising media that can reach condominium residents and workers in the building with a combination of sound and image repeatedly on a daily basis. Recently, Elevator Media has been promoting regional development projects in cooperation with various local governments.<\/p>\n
