\u201cEY Innovative Startup\u201d has been awarded to startups since 2017 with an eye to supporting further growth and promoting innovation that leads to economic revitalization through fair evaluation of excellent startups. Companies are selected based on EY’s network knowledge and the opinions of outside experts, and are determined under three evaluation criteria: innovation, growth potential, and sociality. 15 companies from 12 categories were awarded for this year.<\/p>\n

\u25a0Reason for Commendation<\/h4>\n

AWL was awarded for its innovation: AWL’s AI camera solutions has realized the digitization of retail operations (digitalization of in-store behavior of customers and clerk) by utilizing existing security camera and enabling video analysis with a small investment. And the cutting-edge AI solutions made it possible to analyze and improve operations in retail stores that have not been digitized and streamlined, achieve operational improvements that produce maximum customer satisfaction with the minimum number of staff, and bring innovation to realize super-efficient support operations.
