Tokyo, Japan \u2013 June 13, 2020 – AWL, Inc. (\u201cAWL\u201d, Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, President: Muneharu Kitade), a leading AI camera solutions provider for retailers, would like to take this opportunity to announce its recent welcoming of Dr. Biplab Banerjee (\u201cDr. Banerjee\u201d) of Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, as an Engineering Adviser.<\/p>\n

Dr. Banerjee is working as an Assistant Professor (from June, 2018 onward) of Machine Learning and Visual Computing at the Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering (CSRE), and an associated faculty of the centre of machine intelligence & data science (C-MInDS) at IIT Bombay, one of the best institutes which produces many top executives of global IT companies. Dr. Banerjee is also associated with the Vision & Image Processing group at the Dept. of EE, IIT Bombay. At IIT Bombay, Dr. Banerjee leads the Deep Learning in Remote Sensing & Computer Vision research group. <\/p>\n

AWL Engineering Team has already started active exchange remotely with Dr. Banerjee. AWL intends to work closely with Dr. Banerjee towards more sophisticated AI features and faster commercialization. <\/p>\n
